Occasionally, while trying to impart something helpful or useful to a team member, I can forget to keep the first things first, and then I’m left wondering why they didn’t accept or receive my guidance. The truth is, most don’t care much about what I know until they know that I care. So, when I’m careful to demonstrate that I care first, it is only then that my guidance is welcomed, or better still, invited. #team #care
